A secure, internal website for hosting staff tools, process guides, and interactive forms — accessible at kb.ishaks.com.au
The Knowledge Base is a web platform that can host HTML pages, interactive tools, and documents at: kb.ishaks.com.au. It gives us an additional option for sharing content — particularly things like interactive forms and browser-based tools that benefit from running as standalone web pages.
Pages are written in HTML — the same format James already uses for his own documents — so this platform simply gives those files a proper home with a permanent URL, built-in security, and automatic publishing.
Publishing a new page takes three steps. There are no servers to manage, no IT tickets to lodge, and no waiting for someone to upload it for you.
Write or update an HTML file on your computer, just as you normally would.
Upload the file to our private GitHub repository. This is the central store for all KB content.
Cloudflare detects the change and publishes the page to kb.ishaks.com.au within a couple of minutes.
The knowledge base has two areas, each with different access rules. Where a file is placed in the repository determines who can see it.
Protected by login. Only Ishaks staff and specifically approved partners can access these pages. All internal processes, staff tools, and sensitive information go here.
Accessible to anyone with the link. Use this for content you want to share externally — client-facing resources, shared documents, or brand assets.
Access to internal pages is controlled through two methods. Staff use their existing Microsoft 365 login. Approved external partners receive a one-time code to their email. Nobody else gets in.
Staff sign in with their regular @ishaks.com.au credentials — the same login they already use for Outlook and Teams. No new passwords, no extra accounts.
Partners receive a one-time code sent to their email. Only specifically authorised email addresses will receive a code.
If someone outside the approved list tries to log in, nothing happens — no code is sent, no error message. The system silently denies the request.
SharePoint is great for storing documents, but some things work better as standalone HTML pages. James already works with HTML files — this platform takes that same approach and gives it a proper infrastructure behind it.
Forms that generate emails, calculators with live logic, checklists with dropdowns — all run natively in the browser without SharePoint's restrictions.
Every page has a simple, memorable address. No long SharePoint links or broken paths after a folder restructure.
Share specific pages with external partners without giving them access to your entire SharePoint. They log in with a one-time code and see only what you've approved.
Push a file and it's live within minutes. No waiting for IT, no approval workflows, no deployment steps.
If you already create HTML files, you already know how to publish to the KB. The platform simply gives those files a proper home.
The entire platform runs on free tiers — Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Zero Trust, and GitHub. No subscriptions, no per-user fees.
